I'm trying to decide between two options for my gaming setup based on my budget. The first is the Ryzen 7 7700X paired with 32GB of RAM, which costs around $500. The second is the Ryzen 7 7600X3D with 16GB of RAM, priced at approximately $430. Both options include the motherboard. I mainly play various types of games, especially online shooters and battle royale, and I'm currently using an XFX 6750XT GPU. Which setup would you recommend?

I'd also recommend the 7700X. Sure, the X3D chips are decent, but having more RAM is crucial right now. You might want the option to upgrade your CPU later, but for gaming, I think you'll notice a big difference with 32GB.
For gaming, I’d go with the 7700X and 32GB of RAM. The extra RAM is definitely beneficial, especially with how memory-hungry games are getting these days.
Absolutely 7700X no doubt! It's been solid for me with no issues, and the 32GB RAM is a good investment considering how fast things are changing in gaming.
You should definitely consider the 32GB of RAM. The additional cores from the 7700X can be really useful, especially if you play other demanding games in the future.
The 7600X3D is a solid choice, but honestly, 16GB RAM feels really limiting these days, especially with how quickly games are evolving. I'd go bigger with the 7700X.

Totally agree! With only 16GB, you're starting to see stutters in modern games. Plus with the 7700X, you won't really see a performance difference in most games for a long time.
