I'm using Fedora with the KDE desktop environment, and I've noticed that my HP Omen 16 is getting really hot even when it's completely shut down. I've already disabled wake on USB and charging USB options in the BIOS, and I've unplugged everything, but the problem still persists. It's worth mentioning that my laptop doesn't support deep sleep. This wasn't an issue when I was on Windows. Here are my specs: 32GB RAM, RTX 5060 GPU, and an AMD Ryzen 9 8940X. What can I do to fix this?

Have you considered that maybe something is still running in the background? It might be good to double-check if your machine is actually shutting down completely or just going into a low-power state instead. Also, make sure you’re shutting it down properly through the GUI.

Yeah, I usually press shutdown from the interface. I've checked, but I don't think leaving the charger plugged in changes anything for me.
