Which Motherboard Should I Choose for My 9800X3D Build?

Hey everyone! I'm building a gaming rig in Canada and I've narrowed it down to three motherboard options. They are: 1) Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX for about 220 CAD, 2) Gigabyte B850 Eagle Wifi6E priced at around 250 CAD, and 3) Gigabyte X670 Aorus Elite, also around 250 CAD. I'm primarily gaming on this setup. I know the X670 has a better VRM, but the B650 seems solid as well. However, I'm concerned about compatibility with the 9800X3D, considering it only has an 8-pin CPU connector. Which one do you all think would be the best choice? Thanks in advance!

For the price, I'd definitely go with the X670. It offers better performance and future-proofing for just a bit more cash. Plus, it might handle any heavy loads better than the B650. Just my two cents!

If you're leaning towards the B650, the Eagle version is a solid choice, but if you can spring for the X670, I think it's worth it!

Have you checked out the Newegg bundle? They have a deal with the Gigabyte X870E and a 1TB Samsung 990 Evo Plus for a decent price in CAD! It could potentially save you some money and offer a great combo for your build.

Any chance you could share a link? I can't seem to find that bundle!

I actually use the Asus PRIME B650M-A WIFI II with a 9950X3D and it works great even during stress tests! It's super affordable, and I didn't need to update the BIOS to get it running. Don't stress too much about the VRM; if mine works perfectly on a budget board, yours should be fine too.

This is really helpful, thanks! I'm thinking the B650 for price reasons, but do you think the extra 30 CAD for the X670 is justified?
