Hey everyone! I'm new to the iPhone scene, and I recently added my debit card to Apple Pay. However, the same day, I noticed a charge of $65 from an Apple website, and I'm really confused about why this happened. Can anyone help me understand what might be going on? Until I get this figured out, I'm hesitant to use Apple Pay again.

Remember, adding a card to Apple Pay doesn't automatically link it to your Apple Media Services which includes the App Store or iTunes. To check which payment methods you've set up for media services, go to Settings > [your name] > Payment & Shipping. You can also see your purchase history in the App Store, which might help you track down this charge.

Apple generally doesn't charge you just for adding a card to Apple Pay—charges mostly come from purchases or subscriptions you approve. It sounds like you might have signed up for something that costs $65. You should try to check what that charge is for because that might clarify the confusion.

Did you look into what the charge was for? Sometimes people forget what subscriptions or services they've signed up for, and it can lead to unexpected charges.

I attempted to find out, but the charge got declined again the next morning, and I’m still in the dark about why I'm seeing this $65 from Apple.
