I recently upgraded my Omen 30L prebuilt computer, which I got in 2021. Originally, it had a Ryzen 5 5600G, an RTX 3060, 16GB DDR4 RAM, a 1TB SSD, and a 500W power supply. For Christmas, I received an NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB and a 750W NZXT power supply for better efficiency. I used DDU to uninstall the previous drivers and installed the latest ones, but now I'm experiencing lower FPS than I did with the 3060. For context, I used to get about 150 FPS in Rainbow Six Siege on medium/low settings, but now I struggle to reach 120, even after adjusting the settings. Task Manager shows that both my GPU and CPU usage are significantly lower than expected. I've heard that my CPU might bottleneck the GPU, but I didn't anticipate such a drop in performance. I'm looking for any tips or assistance, as this upgrade has been quite disappointing so far.

That decrease in FPS is definitely concerning. First off, try putting the 3060 back in to see if your performance returns to normal. It could help determine if there's an issue with the 5060 Ti installation or compatibility.
Do you need to uninstall the new drivers for the 5060 Ti before switching back to the 3060?
Make sure to check your game settings. Sometimes after a new driver installation, the settings can reset to higher levels than what you had with the 3060. For instance, if your graphics settings went back to medium or higher defaults, that could explain the lower FPS you're seeing.
Check the PCIe generation of your motherboard. Older generations can bottleneck newer GPUs. Plus, it sounds like your CPU might be struggling to keep up as well, which could be a big factor in the performance drop.
You should keep an eye on your CPU and GPU usage. If either of them is underutilized, you might have a bottleneck. Also, try turning off DLSS or setting it to quality mode instead of performance mode; it could help improve your FPS.

I'll test that out and let you know what happens.
