I'm trying to reset my Instagram password, but the verification email with the reset code never arrives in my Gmail inbox. I've checked Spam and searched through my messages, but there's still nothing from Instagram. Gmail works for receiving other messages, so I'm not sure whether the problem is with Gmail or Instagram.

If Gmail receives other emails but nothing from Instagram, the message may not be leaving Instagram’s side or Gmail may be filtering it before delivery. Check that the email address shown on your Instagram account is correct, then try the account recovery option again. You could also add Instagram’s official sending address or domain to your contacts and check Gmail’s filters and blocked addresses.
Try searching Gmail for “Instagram” or “from:instagram.com” instead of checking only the inbox. Also look in Trash, All Mail, Promotions, and any filtered or blocked-sender settings. If no message appears anywhere, request the code again after waiting a while, since repeated requests can delay delivery.
Some people have had better luck using a different email provider for account recovery, but switching providers isn’t guaranteed to solve it. First verify that the recovery email is actually linked to the account and use Instagram’s alternate recovery options if the email code still doesn’t arrive. Since the same Gmail account can receive messages from other services, this may be specific to the Instagram account or delivery system rather than Gmail itself.

I searched Gmail for Instagram, but no messages showed up at all.
