I've been dealing with game crashes for the past two weeks, especially with graphics-heavy titles. It seems to mostly happen with Unreal Engine 5 games, including Monster Hunter Wilds and Cities: Skylines 2, both of which worked fine when they first launched. Here's a list of the games that keep crashing for me:
* Monster Hunter Wilds: Crashes during shader initialization.
* Oblivion Remastered: Crashes when loading the game and while going through doors.
* Cities: Skylines 2: Crashes right at the menu loading screen.
* InZoi: Crashes on launch, coinciding with my driver update when this issue started.
I've made a few changes to my setup around the time the crashes began:
* New monitor (Samsung Odyssey G40B).
* Upgraded RAM from 32 GB to 64 GB.
* Updated my GPU drivers, though I've heard some recent ones aren't very stable.
* Verified the integrity of the game files.
I've also tried a few fixes that provided temporary relief:
* Driver updates.
* Undervolting my GPU (which seemed to help but stopped after the latest driver update).
* Using DDU to roll back drivers to an earlier version (still faced crashes).
* Lowering game graphics settings, which feels unnecessary for my 3060 but still crashes.
* Checked with a friend who has the same GPU model; his setup works fine.
Here's my PC build for context:
* Motherboard: TUF GAMING B550-PLUS WIFI II
* RAM: 64GB
* CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900x
* GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (30°C idle, max 70°C when gaming)
* PSU: RM850x
* OS: Windows 10
* Monitors: LG Electronics LG Ultragear, Samsung Odyssey G40B
Lastly, I've been playing around with performance limits:
* Voltage Maximum: 100
* Power Maximum: 100
* Temperature Limit: 85

Is the new RAM you installed a pair of additional sticks or replacements? If they're added sticks, make sure they’re compatible in terms of brand and timings. Using different brands can sometimes cause issues. Alternatively, if they’re all compatible but still crashing, consider checking if they've been seated properly in the slots.
They’re added sticks, and I think I installed them correctly, alternating the slots. The original ones are TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600, and the new ones are also TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 3600MHz.
