I'm experiencing an issue with my computer suddenly not being able to access shared folders on other devices in my network. My setup includes a mix of Windows 10 and Windows 11 machines, and while those computers can access the shared folders on my system, mine can't see theirs. Whenever I attempt to connect to a shared folder, I receive a prompt for network credentials, which leads to an error message. It states that access is blocked by my organization's security policies due to unauthenticated guest access. I've ensured that my computer pings the others just fine, and the network setup is straightforward: modem to router to switch to 10 PCs. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Have you checked if your computer is set to a Private Network? That might be the reason it's not discoverable to others. Also, make sure Network Discovery is turned on and that the UPnP Device Host service is running. If that’s all set, it might help to restart your router as well.
Sometimes, adjusting those settings requires a restart, so if you haven't already, try rebooting your PC after making the changes!
Sounds like a typical network issue, but it could also be related to your Windows update settings. Check if the recent updates might be affecting your network configuration, or consider rolling back a recent update if it's worked fine before.
I haven't rolled back any updates yet. I’ll give that a shot and see if it resolves the problem.
It was set to Public initially. I switched it to Private, turned on Network Discovery, and even enabled UPnP Device Host, but I'm still having the same issue.
