Hey everyone, I'm having a real tough time with my PC lately. It's been crashing in several ways – sometimes it just turns off completely, other times it freezes and makes some really disturbing noises. I've taken a look at the storage, checked the drivers, and even examined the system overall. I did a soft reset and checked the temperatures which seem fine. I even tried enabling mini dumps, but no reports are being generated. The crashes are totally random, happening when I'm gaming or just browsing the internet. This all started after I played the game FAR: Lone Sails, and now it's really becoming a nuisance. If anyone has any insights or advice, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Have you cleaned the inside of your PC thoroughly? Dust buildup can lead to overheating and performance issues. Give it a good clean and check all connections while you’re at it!
What exactly did your soft reset include? Did you do a full reinstall of Windows or just reset settings? That could make a big difference in your situation.
I had a similar issue once, and it turned out to be a faulty RAM stick. Try running a memory test to see if that's possibly the culprit. Sometimes hardware issues can cause those random crashes too.
You might want to check your Event Viewer logs. Next time your PC crashes, take a look at the logs, especially the application and system logs. There may be errors there that can shed some light on what's going wrong.
