Lately, I've been experiencing some weird issues with my monitor after trying out HDR. Whenever I start my computer, the display appears to be broken or messed up for about a minute. It's really strange because it never did this before enabling HDR on my monitor, even though it should support it. The problem seems to resolve itself after a short while but only if I turn HDR off. I'm not sure if it's an issue with the monitor or something in my system. Any ideas on what might be going on?

It sounds like your display cable may not be able to handle HDR properly. HDR requires more bandwidth than standard signals, and if your cable is older or lower quality, it might lead to those display glitches. Make sure using the right type of cable that supports HDR.

So you think I might have damaged my DisplayPort cable by using HDR? My GPU and monitor are definitely capable, and they haven't shown any issues before.
