I recently upgraded my PC with a new motherboard, but I've noticed something odd. While my CPU scores have slightly improved in Cinebench 2024, my GPU score has plummeted to half of what it was on my old motherboard. Here's a breakdown of my scores:
**Old Motherboard:**
- CPU Single score: 115
- CPU Multi score: 1027
- GPU score: 11014
**New Motherboard:**
- CPU Single score: 120
- CPU Multi score: 1120
- GPU score: 5323
I'm running an Intel i7-13700F and an RTX 4060TI. Any thoughts on what might be going wrong?

Could it be that your GPU isn't in the right PCIe slot? Make sure it's seated in the top PCIe slot, which is usually the fastest. Sometimes they end up in slower slots by accident, and that can cause big performance drops.
Check your BIOS settings first. If your PCIe lanes are bifurcated or not correctly set, that could throttle your GPU. It's also a good idea to ensure your BIOS is updated and that you’ve installed the latest GPU drivers. A clean install of Windows can help too. It sounds like your GPU might be running on fewer lanes than it did before!
Thanks for the suggestion! I did update my BIOS and did a clean reinstall of Windows to update all my drivers. I found that the PCIe lanes were set to automatic generation. After changing them to the correct generation (4) for both the M.2 and GPU, my Cinebench GPU score shot up to 11935!
