I'm facing an issue with my gaming setup where I'm getting lower FPS than expected, especially compared to others with less powerful builds. My current setup includes an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, an RTX 4080 Super, 64GB of DDR4 RAM at 3200 MHz, a PCIe 5.0 x4 NVMe SSD, and a B550F Gaming motherboard, powered by an ASUS ROG Strix 1000W PSU. My CPU and GPU typically stay cool, around 50-60°C. I ran a UserBenchmark test, which suggested everything's functioning well; however, I noticed my GPU only draws about 175 watts when playing a game like Satisfactory, even though it's running at 92-95% usage and 2865 MHz. Can anyone help me understand why my FPS is so low? I have set Windows to high performance, updated my GPU drivers, updated my motherboard BIOS, and I'm playing on ultra graphics settings. It's frustrating to only get 30 FPS in demanding games while others with lower-end builds are achieving more. Is there a chance I have damaged hardware, or could this be a different issue?

It sounds like you're going through a tough time with FPS! First off, UserBenchmark isn't always reliable for gauging performance; it can be quite biased. Have you checked the BIOS version? Make sure you're on the latest version and that both your GPU and chipset drivers are up to date. Also, was this a fresh install or did you carry over the NVMe from an older build? Sometimes, that can lead to issues.
If your GPU is showing x16 at 4.0, that's good! But you might want to dive into the advanced BIOS settings and try forcing the PCIe mode to 4.0 for the primary slot as a test. Sometimes, that's where the issue lies. Just check that you've got the right settings!

I updated the BIOS about two weeks ago and did a fresh install, completely wiping the SSD. The drivers are all up to date. My GPU shows x16 at 4.0, and yes, it's in the primary PCIe slot. I even tried it directly without a riser.
