Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my PC and put everything in a new case for better airflow. I switched my graphics card from a 3070 to a 5090 waterforce and got a new Corsair 1200W Shift PSU. I'm using the Corsair 5000D case, an Aorus Z790 Pro motherboard, and a Corsair Link 360mm radiator for cooling.
However, I've noticed that my CPU is now running hotter than it did before. Idle temperatures hover around 40 to 50 degrees Celsius, but they spike to 70 or 80 during light tasks, and under heavy load like gaming, it hits 100 degrees. I have both the CPU and GPU radiators set up as intakes. I'm curious if this is due to the CPU being less bottlenecked now or if I should be concerned about these temperatures. Also, just to note, the coolant temperatures are still low, similar to before.

You might want to check the placement of your radiator fans and confirm whether they're working as intake or exhaust. Using quality thermal paste like MX6 is great, but if it's been a while since installation or if the cooler wasn’t properly reseated, it could be worth reapplying it. Even a small issue can affect temps!
I have both radiators mounted to intake, and they’re close together. Is that okay? Initially, I didn’t remove the CPU block when upgrading components, so I'm not sure if the paste is an issue.
