Why is my liquid cooling system shutting down my PC?

I've noticed that my liquid cooling supply starts spinning faster and then the computer shuts off about a minute after I log in. Could this mean I need a new liquid cooling system? If so, can someone recommend a good replacement? My current one is a HP 160w, P/N 657398-004.

It sounds like your cooler might be failing, especially if it's an older model. What computer or motherboard do you have? That info could help identify the right replacement for you!

I’m not super tech-savvy, but I have an HP ENVY Phoenix. I can’t really tell my motherboard model, though. Here’s a picture of the bottom of my PC, and I’ll post another pic to help with the motherboard identification.

Looks like you've got a good starting point! Check for any labels that might have the motherboard model number. It should be printed somewhere on the board.

Thanks for the tips! Here’s another pic that might help. Does this look like it?
