Why is my PC showing a black screen at startup?

I'm having a frustrating issue with my computer where it loads normally at first, showing all the usual window prompts, but then suddenly goes black. The screen just shows a spinning mouse cursor and doesn't load into the actual desktop. I've already cleaned my RAM and GPU, and I even replaced the thermal paste on my CPU, but nothing seems to help. Here are my specs: I'm using an AMD Ryzen 7 CPU, an ASUS Geforce RTX 3060 graphics card, and I have 36GB of RAM. Any thoughts on what might be going wrong?

Have you considered downloading the latest graphics drivers? You should do this from GeForce Experience or the official site, but it might be tricky since your screen is black. Still worth a shot!

I can't do that right now because I can only see the black screen and my mouse.

Have you tried switching ports on your GPU or monitor? Maybe use a different cable to see if that changes anything? Sometimes a faulty port or cable can lead to display issues.

What do you mean by that?
