Why is my PC’s internet speed so slow compared to my phone?

I've been noticing that my PC's internet speed is incredibly slow—I'm talking about 0.01 Mbps for downloads and around 10 Mbps for uploads. However, my phone, which is connected to a different Wi-Fi network, gets around 70-80 Mbps on both download and upload. I can use Discord without issues, but gaming and downloading stuff on my PC is a real struggle. Any ideas on why this is happening?

Hey! It sounds like your PC might be having connection issues. First, check how your PC is connected to the internet. Are you using an ethernet cable directly to the modem? If so, that usually provides a better connection than Wi-Fi. Also, make sure your phone isn’t on mobile data while testing its speed. Sometimes different Wi-Fi networks can have varying speeds too! If you’re really low on the PC, there might be some network settings or outdated drivers causing the problem. Let me know how it goes!

Yeah, I agree! If it's on ethernet but still slow, it might be worth trying to reset the modem or check if there are firmware updates available. Sometimes old equipment just can't keep up.
