Why is my Ultrawide Monitor Suddenly Stuck at 1920×1080?

I've been using my Ultrawide UHD 240Hz Sansui 34" monitor without any issues, but today my laptop started recognizing it as just 1920x1080. I was playing at 3440x1440 just yesterday, and I haven't changed anything. I checked my drivers, but I can't roll them back, as that option is greyed out. I'm using an Asus Vivobook 14 with an i3-1215U processor and 8GB of RAM. I'm hoping some tech-savvy folks here can help without suggesting I just upgrade. Any fixes or instructions would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried using a different cable? Sometimes the connection can cause issues like this.

Yes, I've tested a different cable, but unfortunately, all of them are worse than what I'm using now.

Make sure your display settings are set to either Extended or Mirror mode. Sometimes it can switch modes and cause the resolution to change.
