Why isn’t my 5G WiFi signal showing up?

I've been dealing with this issue since December 2025. I have a home WiFi plan that costs 1,499 a month for 100 Mbps or more, but the 5G signal just doesn't show up on any of my devices. I've tried all sorts of troubleshooting and checked the main server, which seems fine. I also raised a ticket for a technician visit, but no one showed up, and my issue seems to be lost in the system. What should I do next?

Just to clarify what you're asking: are you having issues with devices connecting to the 5G band, or are you experiencing slower speeds in general? If you're only getting 2.4GHz, it might point to a problem with your modem or router. Also, are you seeing the expected speeds on some devices but not others?

Sounds like you should reach out to your internet provider again. They need to confirm whether your plan actually includes 5G capability and help resolve this. It's frustrating that no one came to check the modem.

Are you sure you're referring to the 5GHz WiFi signal from your access point? If so, keep in mind that 5GHz generally has a shorter range compared to 2.4GHz, but it offers faster speeds. Maybe check to make sure your devices actually support the 5GHz network? Sometimes, devices only connect at 2.4GHz by default.
