Why isn’t my GPU displaying anything?

I recently built my own PC, which includes a 7900 XT GPU and a 9800X3D CPU on a Project Zero motherboard. Currently, only the integrated graphics on my CPU are functional and I can't get the GPU to work at all. I want to know if this issue could be something as simple as needing a driver update, or if I've run into a bigger problem with the GPU itself. I have confirmed that the GPU is properly powered. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Am I just overthinking the situation?

First, make sure you've plugged the video cable directly into the GPU and not the motherboard. That’s a common oversight when setting up a new build.

Yeah, I checked and I've tried multiple cables too, but still nothing.

I had a similar issue with my 7900 XTX today! It flashed green for a moment, but after a restart, it stopped displaying altogether. My lights were on, and the motherboard didn't show any issues either, so it might be a card issue.

That sounds frustrating. Did you try reseating the GPU or checking the connections again?

Check if your GPU has any lights or fans that indicate it's working. If it has RGB lighting and it’s off, that could be a sign something's wrong.

Nope, it doesn't have any lights on it.
