I recently removed my old GPU to sell it and planned to use integrated graphics until I buy a new one. After removing the GPU and connecting my two monitors, the main monitor showed the motherboard logo during bootup, but once Windows started, it went blank and kept cycling into power-saving mode. The second monitor works fine, but I'm stuck with a non-responsive main monitor. I've tried various solutions, including restarting with just the main monitor, using DDU to uninstall old drivers, and switching output ports. I also booted into safe mode to check the display settings. Nothing seems to work, and I'm at a loss! Here are my specs:
- CPU: Ryzen 7 9700X
- Motherboard: Asus Tuf B850 PLUS WIFI
- Old GPU: 1050ti
I used a DisplayPort cable and a DVI to HDMI cable for the main monitor connection, while the second monitor uses a VGA to HDMI adapter. All cables and adapters are confirmed working. Sometimes when restarting with only the main monitor connected, it may not cycle, but I still end up with a blank screen.

I'm wondering if your integrated GPU can handle dual monitors at the same time. If you haven’t yet, try connecting just the main monitor directly to one of the motherboard's ports without the second monitor hooked up. It might help narrow down the issue if there’s a limitation with the iGPU.
Have you checked if the integrated GPU is enabled in your BIOS? Sometimes it's necessary to enable it manually after removing a dedicated GPU, or it might default to not using it. Just boot into BIOS and look for a setting related to onboard graphics.

I did try plugging in just the main monitor to both ports, but it still didn’t work.
