Why isn’t my RAID card detected in the BIOS?

I'm having trouble with a brand-new SuperMicro SYS-111E-WR server that comes equipped with an AOC-S3816L-L16iT RAID card. Despite having 10 1.9TB SSD drives, the RAID card isn't appearing in the BIOS, and I can't configure the RAID. I've reseated the card, checked all the connections, and reset the BIOS settings, but nothing seems to work. Is there something simple I might be overlooking, or could the RAID card or motherboard be faulty? Just to note, I have a 4-port NIC on the same riser as the RAID card, and that one shows up in the BIOS, which makes me think the issue might be with the RAID card itself.

It's possible the RAID card isn't recognized due to a compatibility issue. Since the NIC is detected, it leans towards the RAID card being the problem. Make sure you've updated the firmware on your motherboard to ensure it's compatible with the RAID card. If nothing’s working, consider reaching out to SuperMicro for support.

You might want to check in the BIOS under the Advanced tab. There should be an option for the RAID controller there, usually towards the end of the list. If you still don’t see it, a screenshot of your BIOS could help troubleshoot further.
