I recently built my PC, but I've been hitting a lot of roadblocks. I finally got the lights and fans to turn on, but I noticed a solid red light for the CPU. After reseating the CPU, the red light disappeared from there but then switched to the DRAM indicator. When I installed the RAM, it started getting extremely hot within a minute, which seems way too high for a PC that's not running anything yet. I'm using an MSI B550 Tomahawk motherboard with Corsair Vengeance Pro RAM. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've had similar issues with RAM getting hot. It might be worth trying to use just one stick of RAM initially to see if any changes occur. If that works, then add the others back in one at a time to isolate the issue. Sometimes it's just a matter of having the right timings and compatibility as well.
That red light issue can be frustrating. Make sure the CPU cooler is properly installed with thermal paste; without it, your CPU could overheat. It sounds like you have an AIO cooler, which should be good, but just double-check to ensure everything is connected and seated properly. Also, could be a RAM issue; try reseating the RAM modules or using different slots to see if that helps!
Yeah, definitely verify that cooler. If it's not making good contact, it can lead to those temperature issues.

Thanks! I'll give that a shot and see if it makes a difference.
