Why won’t my PC start with 4 sticks of RAM?

I recently built a PC using an ASUS TUF Gaming X870-PLUS WiFi AM5 motherboard, and I'm having issues getting it to boot with four sticks of RAM. I'm using a combination of two Crucial Pro DDR5 32GB RAM sticks and two Vengeance RGB 32GB DDR5 sticks, both rated at 6000MHz but with different timings. When I try to boot the PC with all four sticks installed, the fans run at high speed, but the monitor stays black. What can I do to resolve this?

For best compatibility, stick with two similar sticks in one set of slots—either 1 & 3 or 2 & 4. It's like the old saying: 'better to stay uniform than to mix it up.'

It's smart to avoid mixing RAM sticks because they often have different voltage and timing requirements that can lead to boot issues. If you want more detailed information about your RAM, you could download CPUID and check the memory tab to compare timings and voltages. It's better to match up similar sticks if you can, but definitely consult your motherboard manual for slot configuration.

Mixing different RAM kits like that can cause problems, especially since they might not have matching specifications. Have you tried disabling EXPO in the BIOS? Also, make sure you're using the right slots. Generally, you should install one kit in slots 1 & 3 and the other in slots 2 & 4 for the best results.

Yeah, which slots are you using for each RAM stick? That can really affect how your system recognizes them.
