Will a 16GB RX 9060 XT be enough for RDR2 on my new build?

I'm building a computer for my son focused on gaming and some college productivity. I've put everything together except for the GPU. The Ryzen 5 9600X has onboard graphics, but I know they're not very powerful. I'm considering adding a 16GB RX 9060 XT graphics card to the build. Can this card run Red Dead Redemption 2 smoothly, or will it result in a laggy experience? Appreciate any advice!

Don't forget about YouTube! Just check out some benchmarks for the 9060 XT in RDR2 next time you're unsure. You'll get a clearer idea of performance from those videos, trust me!

Absolutely! Benchmark videos can be super informative.

I actually run RDR2 on an RX 6600 with optimized high settings on a 1440p monitor. If I'm getting good performance, you definitely should be fine with the 9060 XT. Good luck with your build!

Sounds promising! Thanks for sharing your experience.

You should be good to go! The 9060 XT is more than capable of running RDR2. You can probably expect around 90 fps at 1080p, and even over 70 fps at 1440p. Your son will have a great gaming experience with that card!
