Hey everyone! I recently put together a new PC and I'm trying to set up a 6-monitor configuration. My main GPU has 4 display outputs, but the ones on my motherboard aren't powerful enough to handle the other two at 1440p and 165Hz. I'm looking at adding a second graphics card that's slot-powered, mainly because I don't want to redo my cable management. I thought about getting a 3050, but I'm curious how long it will stay compatible with my primary card, which is a Blackwell. I've also got an old K2000, but it can't work with my main card's drivers. So, if you think a 3050 wouldn't cut it, what alternatives do you suggest? Thanks for your input!

The 3050 will mainly act as a basic display adapter for your setup, so it won't need to be very powerful as all the heavy lifting will be done by your primary GPU. It should last you quite a while if that's all you're using it for!
That really depends on your definition of playable and the resolution you’re working with. But since the 3050 will just be for display, it won't become obsolete quickly if that's its only job!
Yeah, like I mentioned, I just need it to handle the displays while the heavy stuff runs on my 5090.
