I'm currently using an RTX 3070, but I'm considering an upgrade to a 5070 Ti. My main concern is whether my Ryzen 5600X will bottleneck this new GPU. Should I also think about upgrading to a 5700X3D to make the most of the 5070 Ti? I want to improve my frame rates, especially in 1440p gaming where I typically get around 60-70 FPS in RDR2. By the way, I'm sticking with the AM4 socket for now, so a complete overhaul isn't what I'm after.

For sure, there will be some bottleneck since the GPU will be the stronger component. But if you're gaming in 1440p, you should still get pretty good frame rates – over 100 FPS in many games should be achievable.
If you're upgrading mainly for better graphics settings, the 5600X should keep up. Just tweak those settings to maximize your experience.
I've got a 5600X running a 3080, and it does hold back performance in some 1440p games. Others, however, run just fine. It really depends on the game you're playing.
Just go ahead and install the 5070 Ti. If it doesn’t perform as you expect, then consider upgrading the CPU later on.
That’s comforting to hear! What FPS are you getting with your setup?
