Will My Ryzen 7 1700x Bottleneck a New GPU?

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU from a 1050ti and I'm currently using a Ryzen 7 1700x. My budget is somewhat limited, so I was considering getting either a 3060 or an Arc B580. I'm curious if my current CPU will bottleneck these options and whether I need to upgrade my CPU as well. For reference, I have an MSI B450-A Pro motherboard. Any advice would be appreciated!

Any modern GPU you get will likely be bottlenecked by the Ryzen 7 1700x. Honestly, it might be a good idea to upgrade the CPU too. If your budget is tight, look for a used Ryzen 5 5600x or a new 5600. As for the GPU, the RX 7600 would be a better match than the RTX 3060 since it's not the best value unless you find a good used deal.

How does the RX 7600 stack up against the Arc B580? They seem similarly priced, but the B580 has 12GB of VRAM compared to the RX 7600's 8GB.
