Hey everyone! I'm currently using an AMD Ryzen 5 with a GTX 1080 and 32GB of RAM, but lately, it's been running pretty slow. I'm considering an upgrade to an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, keeping the 32GB RAM, adding a 2TB SSD, and switching to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Super. Do you think this setup would significantly boost my performance in DaVinci Resolve, or do you have any other suggestions? Thanks!

Are you planning to use this PC just for DaVinci Resolve? The X3D processors are great for gaming, but they might not give you the best performance boost for productivity tasks like editing unless benchmarks specifically show otherwise. A different CPU could be better suited for your needs if gaming isn't in your plans.
I'm mainly using it for Resolve and not for gaming. I'm looking at a used PC for sale with those specs, so just trying to see if it’s worth it!
