I've been experiencing an issue with my laptop running Windows 11 for the past two weeks. It indicates that it's connected to the WiFi, but there's no internet access. I'm still learning about computers and have tried various troubleshooting methods without success. Here's what I've attempted so far:
- Restarting the network adapter
- Uninstalling the network adapter
- Flushing DNS
- Setting new DNS servers (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4)
- Executing ipconfig /release followed by ipconfig /renew
- Performing a network reset
- Removing VPN and antivirus software
- Trying netsh winsock commands
- And executing a clean boot.
I'd really appreciate any advice or solutions you might have!

Also, check if your internet service is actually working. Look at the lights on your modem/router; they should indicate an active connection to the internet. If they’re not lit up correctly, there might be a service issue with your ISP.
I had a similar issue a while back, and it turned out to be a problem with my router rather than Windows. If you haven’t done so yet, try connecting your laptop to a different WiFi network or use your phone’s hotspot. If it works there, your laptop is likely fine, and the problem might be with your router or ISP.
Have you tried power cycling your router and modem? Just unplug them both, wait a minute, and then plug them back in. It can often resolve a variety of connectivity issues.
