Windows Glitching When Running Intensive Applications on KDE Plasma 6

I'm using Fedora 42 with KDE Plasma, and I've been experiencing some frustrating glitches when I run graphically intensive games like Helldivers and Crusader Kings 3. After about 30 minutes of gaming, if I switch to apps like Discord or Firefox, those windows freeze on the last frame displayed before the switch. It's weird because I can still interact with them normally, but there's no visual update. I've tried to troubleshoot this issue but haven't found any solid solutions. Someone suggested it might be linked to Electron apps, but I'm not sure why Firefox is affected too. I'd love to avoid switching my desktop environment if possible. Here are my specs for reference: OS - Fedora KDE 42, CPU - i7-11700k, GPU - Nvidia RTX 3070 (driver version 580.95.05), RAM - 32gb DDR4 @ 3200Mhz, MOBO - Asus PRIME Z590-P.

Are you running your setup on Wayland or X11? Knowing this can help pinpoint the problem better.

It could be memory management causing the glitches. Are you using zram or zswap on your system? Sometimes the system may swap memory to disk, which can lead to visual issues like what you described.

How are you launching your games? If you're using Steam, that could play a part in the glitches. Let me know if you run into these issues with Lutris or other platforms as well.
