I'm putting together a PC aimed at 1440P gaming and would love some feedback on my build. I realize some parts might be a bit over the top, but they fit within my budget and I'm considering future upgrades. By the way, the Kingston NV3 SSD comes free with the 9800X3D. My main concerns are whether the Thermalright Peerless Assassin cooler is adequate and if I should get extra case fans. I'm also torn between sticking with an air cooler or switching to an AIO; any thoughts on that would be appreciated! It's been over 7 years since my last build, so any advice would really help. Thanks for the input!

Be cautious with the NV3 SSD—it's likely using QLC flash which might wear out quicker. You should consider other options if durability's a concern. As for the pricing, make sure you're getting a good deal; sometimes, buying components individually can save you money. Are you getting the bundle from a reputable site?
If you're doing any kind of rendering, I'd recommend going for an AIO cooler. The thermal performance is usually better, and the noise can become annoying with an air cooler. Just check the specs for your case—some come with fans, but it's often better to fill all available spaces with fans unless there are limitations. Alright, good to know, thank you for the info!
That setup sounds awesome! I have the same CPU and GPU and honestly, it runs like a beast. You should enjoy it!
Love to hear that!
The sale is on Newegg. There isn't a price difference without the NV3, and both Amazon and B&H have the same price for the CPU, so the bundle doesn't cost extra. But should I just go with the 990 Pro by itself?
