I'm curious if a Ryzen 5 5600 paired with an RTX 5060 graphics card (8GB) is a good setup for video editing. I know it should work, but I'm wondering how well it performs, especially with more demanding projects. Are there better options out there?

It depends on what you're editing. For basic projects like TikToks in 720p, it'll do the job just fine. But if you're working with more intensive tasks like 2160p 60fps projects in After Effects or Premiere Pro, you might want to consider going for a Ryzen 7 5700X or 5800X instead for better performance.

Definitely! The higher-tier CPUs can make a noticeable difference for heavy editing.

It's decent for video editing, but if you can get an Intel chip with integrated graphics, you might gain some advantages with Quick Sync for encoding. That said, the RTX 5000 series has improved decoding support compared to older cards, so you might be fine without it.

So, would an i5 14400F be better than the Ryzen setup?
