Hey everyone! I'm currently doing some research to understand how much AI you expect in the software you use today. I'm curious if there's a point where too much AI makes a solution seem less valuable. Here are a few things I'm really interested in:
1. Do you believe a solution that's made entirely without AI is better?
2. If you think AI is essential for software development now, what do you think is the minimum percentage of a solution that should be AI-generated or enhanced?
3. Would you use software that markets itself as 100% AI-based? What about software that claims to be 100% non-AI?
4. Bonus question: How do you feel about AI-generated marketing directed at developers, such as ads with AI avatars or scripted content?

No AI solutions for me, please! It's not like they’ve proven to create something meaningful.
2. Zero percent AI should be necessary because AI-generated components can lead to subpar quality.
3. Anything marketed completely as AI just feels like a red flag. I'd avoid it entirely.
4. Those types of marketing just seem cheap and try to trick developers—definitely not a good look.
1. For me, yeah, a solution without any AI seems optimal.
2. Honestly, I think 0% AI is ideal.
3. If it's marketed as 100% AI, I wouldn't even give it a try. If it's good, it should speak for itself without all that AI fluff.
4. Those ads just feel patronizing to me. I can't take them seriously!
🙂 hahahaha! Thank you!
Expect AI in everything now, but it feels like a cause for bugs and failures.
1. Optimal? Nope, I don't see AI contributing positively.
2. Not mandatory; I think it should be 0% or just for boilerplate stuff.
3. If something is marketed as fully AI, it signals to me that the product likely won't be reliable. It feels like a hollow promise.
4. If you can spot AI in marketing, it makes me feel like they’re just trying to manipulate us. It doesn’t reflect well on the company.
Appreciate the insights!
1. I feel like a product made without any AI might be the best choice in many cases.
2. It shouldn't be mandatory. Preferably, I think 0% AI is ideal.
3. I might try a good app regardless, but if it’s pushing AI features too hard, I probably won't be interested.
4. AI-generated marketing really loses my trust. I just don't connect with that approach.
Thank you.
1. I really think optimal software should avoid AI code, since quality can drop.
2. AI isn't a necessity, and I wouldn’t trust anything that claimed to be 100% AI developed.
3. Marketing as 100% AI makes me wonder what features are actually worth mentioning.
4. I actively avoid ads that rely on that sort of gimmick. If it's not genuine, I’m out.
Thanks for your input!
Thanks!!!
