I'm using Linux Mint with the XFCE desktop environment and I'm looking for recommendations on software that I can use for editing videos, photos, and creating graphical posters. Any good suggestions?

I've had good experiences with DaVinci Resolve for video editing—it's powerful and versatile. For music editing, definitely check out Audacity; it's very user-friendly.

If you're looking for something that works on multiple platforms, Shotcut is great! It runs on Linux, Windows, and even Mac. Plus, it supports pretty much every video codec. I’ve never faced any stability issues with it, either.

For video editing, I recommend trying out Kdenlive and Shotcut. They both work great on Linux and support a variety of codecs. GIMP is fantastic for photo editing, while Inkscape is perfect for creating posters. If you're working with raw photos, Darktable is a solid choice too.
