I'm thinking about giving Linux a shot, but I want something that's not bogged down with extra services like what I experience on Windows. I'm looking for a minimal distro that has WiFi support right out of the box. Any recommendations?

For a lightweight option, you can't go wrong with distributions like Debian, Ubuntu, Mint, or Manjaro. They all handle WiFi pretty well and usually come with the essentials you'd need without too much extra stuff.
