I'm considering upgrading my CPU because I feel like my overall performance is lacking. I currently have a Ryzen 5 2400G and a GTX 1050 Ti. While I enjoy gaming, sometimes it feels like my CPU might be the bottleneck. Does anyone have insights on whether the 2400G will bottleneck the 1050 Ti, or if I should look into an upgrade?

What games are you playing? If they’re graphically demanding, it might be more of a GPU issue. I’d recommend upgrading your CPU too if your motherboard supports it - something like a Ryzen 5600 would be great without causing major bottlenecks with newer GPUs.
A heads up: the R5 2400G lacks TPM, which means it doesn't support Windows 11. Windows 10 security updates are ending soon, so you might want to think about upgrading to a Ryzen 3000 or 5000 series CPU so you’re ready for Windows 11.
Monitoring your performance is key! If your GPU is hitting 100% usage, then it's definitely a GPU bottleneck. Make sure your monitor is connected to the GPU as well.
Honestly, you shouldn't see a significant bottleneck with that setup. The 2400G and 1050 Ti pair fairly well for casual gaming, but if you're aiming for better performance in demanding games, an upgrade down the line would help.
