I'm looking to replace the Dell XPS 13 Plus 9320 for our CEO. While it's been a reliable machine, it's starting to lag and crash more often. We're considering either the Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 12 or the new Dell XPS 14 (9440), but I wanted to see if there are any other premium options worth checking out. A high-quality OLED display is a must for the new device, but a touchscreen isn't necessary. Any suggestions?

We've switched to the ASUS ExpertBook B9 OLED for our C-suite, and they’re really pleased with it. The build quality is excellent and performance is top-notch as well!
The Lenovo X1 Carbon is a top pick. I’ve had great experiences with it, and our executives love them too. It’s reliable and has powerful performance for all their tasks.
Honestly, I think sticking to a consistent model across your organization is a smart move. It simplifies inventory and maintenance. I always give our CEO the same laptop as everyone else, and it just works out better. Try to find something that suits everyone's needs without complicating things.
Totally agree! Sounds way smarter than my last CEO who insisted on getting the fanciest consumer-grade laptop, which ended up being heavier and less efficient than our standard models.
Exactly! Sometimes it feels like they think they need the best just because of their title. A solid machine that meets the requirements is the way to go.
I’d recommend the HP EliteBook series too. They're generally very reliable, and I’ve had good experiences with them. Just watch out for some of the older issues that have been reported.
We switched from those due to some display issues. I think it depends on your luck with models!
Yeah, it's always a toss-up. I think you'll find some variance in performance even among the same brand.
We got our CEO a MacBook Pro M1 Pro after his Dell XPS gave out. He’s the only Apple user now, but he’s been super happy with it, which is the main thing.
I've heard good things about that model! If it works for your execs, it's definitely worth considering.
