I Didn’t Realize That $4 Was Hourly! Help With a $2K Bill?

I was testing out Copilot for security earlier this month and thought I was just paying $4 for a compute unit, which seemed fine. I figured I'd quickly test a promptbook on my subscription without worrying too much. Turns out, it's actually $4 per hour! I just logged in and saw I racked up a crazy $2,000 bill after just running one prompt. Is there any chance I can get this bill waived?

I'd recommend asking support too; you might be in luck! They can sometimes be understanding with first-time mistakes like this.

Definitely reach out to support. Since this is your first time encountering such a high bill, there’s a good chance they might help you and waive it.

Wow, that’s a rough lesson! Could’ve kept warm with that cash if you just tossed it in the fire instead! But yeah, on Copilot? That's wild, lol.

Lmao, I get you. The pricing model is super confusing and honestly seems overpriced!

Right? The real issue was misconfiguring the resources and not realizing it. Definitely an honest mistake!

How did your testing actually go aside from the billing shock?
