Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my PC with an i5 12400f processor, an RX 5700 XT GPU, 16GB of 3200 MHz RAM, and an H610M motherboard. My power supply is a 500W 80 Plus Bronze unit from my old setup back in 2019. While I thought my new configuration would handle modern games smoothly, I'm struggling with performance. For instance, I only get about 50 FPS on low settings in Battlefield 2042 and 40 FPS in Warzone on low settings as well. In Dragons Dogma 2, I'm only pulling about 26 FPS in the main city. Also, my RAM is stuck at 2100 MHz even though it should reach 3200 MHz, and I haven't been successful in getting my GPU to recognize the proper settings through the BIOS. I'm planning to try undervolting today. The store checked my GPU and motherboard and said they're fine, but they suggested upgrading my PSU. Can a power supply really bottleneck performance this significantly?

It sounds like your PSU might not be the main culprit since a bad one usually leads to crashes, not reduced frame rates. It’s more likely that you have a RAM issue. The H610 should support your RAM speed, so something's off there. Have you checked if the RAM sticks are properly seated?
A power supply can cause issues, but typically you'd see crashes or shutdowns rather than a straight performance drop. If it can't keep up, it usually fails to deliver enough power altogether.
Yeah, it's a Corsair Vengeance LPX. I really thought it should be fine.
