I've had my PC for about three or four years, and it's done a great job for everything I've needed. However, I tried to update to Windows 11 about six months ago, and it turns out my specs won't support it. I'm looking to make sure I can run new and upcoming games while also streaming with OBS. I have a budget of around $500 and I'm open to buying parts from sites like eBay. Here are my current specs: Motherboard: H81M-A, CPU: i5-4590, RAM: 8GB, GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060 6GB, and I'm using 2TB of storage with an additional 1TB external drive.

For your budget, the biggest upgrade you can make would be to your GPU. Since you're looking at around $500, consider getting a new graphics card and possibly increasing your RAM to at least 16GB. Your current CPU and motherboard are quite old at this point, so if you really want to future-proof your setup, you might also want to think about a full rebuild. But with your budget, focusing on the GPU and RAM should give you a nice boost!
I've been checking out some options for a new motherboard with a Ryzen 5 7600X and 12GB of RAM. Do you think that's a good direction?
