Can I Fix Windows Files on My Hard Drive by Connecting to Another Computer?

I've been having a rough time trying to fix some issues with my Windows files on my hard drive. I'm wondering if it's possible to connect my hard drive to a different computer as a secondary drive. My idea is to boot Windows from the main drive and then try to patch any needed Windows files on my hard drive without messing up anything I already have on there. Sorry if that's a bit confusing; I'm not super tech-savvy!

You could try using the command prompt and running `sfc /scannow`, but keep in mind that this will only scan the main drive you boot from. You won't be able to fix your secondary drive directly unless you have it set up properly. Just wanted to clarify that!

I guess that makes sense. Since I need my drive as secondary, I wouldn't be able to get into the system otherwise.
