Hey everyone! I have a really old Samsung Galaxy Note9 that I haven't used in a few years, and I've totally forgotten the PIN. I've been trying to figure out a way to unlock it, but all the information I find seems to lead to factory resets, which I really want to avoid. I also tried reaching out to Samsung support, but my device isn't showing up in their 'Find My Device' feature, maybe because I haven't accessed it in so long. I'm really attached to the memories on that phone, so any help on how I could unlock it would be amazing!

Unfortunately, you can't really bypass the PIN on your own. Most advice will lead you to a factory reset, but that wipes all your data. If you're worried about whether the phone's been stolen, I'd recommend taking it to the police, although I'm sure that's not the case with your phone. Good luck trying to recall your old passwords!
You're in a tough spot, as the tools to unlock are generally only available to experts or law enforcement. Just double-check if you have any password hints or previous codes you might remember and keep trying them! Sometimes you just get lucky with an old one.
I appreciate the input! I'll keep at it, definitely hoping to remember something soon.
Thanks for the advice! Just to clarify, it's definitely not stolen—I still have the original box and payment details from when I bought it!
