Hey folks! I'm upgrading my current GTX1650 Super and trying to decide between the 16GB versions of the RX9060XT and the RTX5060Ti for my system. I have a Ryzen 5600 chip on an Asrock B450 Pro4 motherboard with 32GB of RAM and a Corsair VS650 PSU, and I'm sticking with this setup for a while. My motherboard only handles a PCIe Gen 3 x16 connection for the GPU. I've read that the RTX5060Ti operates on PCIe Gen 5 x8, which might mean around a 10% drop in performance with regular VRAM use, while the RX9060XT on PCIe Gen 5 x16 might not face significant impact unless I max out the VRAM. I'm mainly gaming at 1080p on a 4K monitor but might switch to 1440p soon. I don't prioritize CUDA for Adobe Premiere Pro much. The prices where I am are about $375 for the RX9060XT and $460 for the RTX5060Ti. Do you think the extra $85 for the RTX is worth it for the better ray tracing and DLSS?

Check out Hardware Unboxed's reviews. They've tested both on PCIe Gen 3 and it seems like the RX9060XT comes out on top for most scenarios. Might be worth giving their videos a look before you decide!
I'd say go for the RX9060XT. It's a solid card for the price, especially since you're not focusing on ray tracing or CUDA for productivity tasks, and it sounds like it fits your gaming needs better at 1080p.
Thanks for the tip! I hadn't seen their videos yet, so I'll definitely check them out!
