What Should I Do if I Accidentally Spit on My PC?

I accidentally got some spit on my PC right where the top fans blow air out, and now my computer has frozen. I quickly removed the top panel to stop any more liquid from getting in, and thankfully, I didn't see any visible signs of moisture on the components. However, I'm nervous since my PC froze right after that. Currently, it's just sitting in front of a fan with the AC running. What are the chances everything will be fine? How long should I wait before turning it back on? I'm especially worried about my GPU since it's the most expensive part of my setup. Any advice would be really appreciated!

If nothing looks wet, it's a good idea to leave the case open and let it air dry for at least a day, just to be safe. Even if you can't see any moisture, that doesn't mean it's not there! I honestly think you’ll be fine though. And hey, this is why people usually don’t recommend spitting in the vicinity of electronics, lol!

Yeah, I’m just letting it dry for now. I just can’t shake the worry that moisture might be hiding somewhere. Thanks for the tip, though! I had no idea spitting was such a big deal, but good to know it was just a silly accident!
