I've got a Surface Go 3 with Windows 11, and I'm using an LTE connection via an eSIM with O2 in Germany. Everything seems fine, but I'm only getting an IPv6 address; there's no IPv4 address assigned. When I check the Event Viewer, I see an error indicating my computer wasn't assigned an address from the DHCP server. Should I check anything further on my device, or is it more likely an issue with my mobile network provider? Unfortunately, I can't test with a different SIM right now.

Definitely contact your mobile provider. Some networks, like T-Mobile and Verizon, do operate in IPv6-only regions, which could be your case. Just keep in mind not all devices or connections will be fully compatible with IPv6 yet.
You mentioned your phone is getting both IPv4 and IPv6, so that strengthens the case against your provider. Since your provider might have something going on with your tablet’s connection, touching base with them should help sort this out.
It looks like your provider may only support IPv6. Some networks are transitioning this way, and while IPv6 is important for the future, many services are still reliant on IPv4. If you suspect the issue lies with your mobile operator, reaching out to them for clarity might be a good move.
Sounds like your mobile operator is probably the culprit here. It's worth shooting them a message to find out if they have any IPv4 options available in your area.
