I accidentally messed up my BIOS settings while trying to set up a dual boot. My computer wasn't detecting my USB drive, so I disabled Secure Boot in the BIOS. While I was there, I misunderstood an option about USB ports and ended up disabling them entirely instead of just USB security. Now, my keyboard only functions for about three seconds after I turn on the PC before it stops working completely. I've tried removing the CMOS battery for over five minutes, but that hasn't resolved the issue. Any advice on how to fix this?

You might want to look for a clear CMOS button or jumper on your motherboard. Usually, there's a jumper with three pins: one is for 'normal' operation and the other for 'reset.' You just need to move the jumper to the reset position for a bit. That could help get everything back to normal!
Make sure your PSU was completely off when you removed the CMOS battery. If it's still plugged in, even if the PC is off, it can still provide standby power, which might prevent the reset from working properly.
I did turn off my PC completely before taking out the battery, so that shouldn't be an issue.
Here's a quick visual guide on how to do it. It might help you identify the right jumper: [image link]
