I'm having trouble with my PC, which has an MSI PRO B650m-p motherboard and no built-in WiFi. I got a WiFi booster that connects via Ethernet to access the internet from my router on the other side of the house. It was working fine until I rebooted my PC about four hours ago. Now, even though my Ethernet says it's connected, I can't access the internet, and it reports that it can't detect proxy settings. I've tried updating drivers, resetting the booster, and restarting my PC several times, but nothing seems to help. I checked with my phone, and the booster is working, so it must be an issue with my PC. I'd really appreciate any help with this!

When you’re at the command prompt, type "ipconfig" and look at your IP address. Make sure the gateway address listed there is correct as well. If the gateway seems off, that could be the source of your connectivity issues.
Have you tried using a different network cable? It's worth checking if that’s causing the problem. Also, you could run a command in the command prompt: type "netsh winsock reset" and see if that helps. If you haven't already, you might want to try disabling the network adapter and then re-enabling it. Some folks have had success uninstalling the drivers completely and letting Windows reinstall them automatically. Good luck!
