I recently upgraded my GPU from a 3060 Ti to a 9070 XT, but now I'm experiencing lower FPS in games like PUBG—going from 200 FPS to only 170. I made sure to use DDU to uninstall the Nvidia drivers before installing the new GPU, and all my drivers are up to date. I'm a bit lost on what to do now. Here are my specs: ROG STRYX Z390-F Gaming, 2TB SSD, Intel Core i7-9700, and the 9070 XT. Could this be a CPU issue? Is my motherboard to blame? If so, what upgrades do you recommend?

You might want to try running DDU again, but cut off your internet this time. This way, Windows won’t interfere with driver installation. Also, check your PCI-E lanes because if your system switched to x4 or x8, that could definitely impact your performance. Use CPU-Z to verify that. Additionally, keep an eye on temps and usage with HWInfo64 while gaming. It’s also worth revisiting your RAM settings, as they could've defaulted to lower speeds.
Your advice doesn’t change the fact that his CPU isn’t cutting it for that GPU right now.
Should I uninstall all drivers including AMD’s? My PCI-E slot runs at x16 and I've turned on XMP in the BIOS.
