I've got this bulky Acer PC, and I've noticed that after gaming for just 30 minutes, my room starts to feel like a sauna. My air conditioning isn't cutting it since the thermostat is located in a different room. In winter, I can just open the window to cool it down, but it's summer now, and that's not an option. I'm considering a standalone AC unit that I could vent through my door since my window doesn't support regular AC designs. I'm looking for any effective solutions or experiences you all might have on this issue. Thanks!

If you're okay with tweaking settings, consider undervolting your CPU and GPU! If that's not viable, then yeah, AC is probably the way to go. Also, there's no need to run your FPS higher than your monitor's refresh rate.
Honestly, your best bet might be to decentralize. If you can't vent the heat from your room using fans or an AC intake, consider moving the PC out of your room entirely.
In my office setup, I use a ceiling fan and a small desk fan to push warm air out of the room. Also, a vent booster helps bring in cool air more effectively.
Have you thought about relocating your PC to another room? You could run USB and HDMI cables to your room so you can still use it without all the heat affecting your space!
You could try using a box fan to help circulate the air in and out of the room. Improving your PC's efficiency can also help. But just a heads up, venting an AC unit out the door might not work as well as you'd hope. Are your windows completely inoperable? There are AC units that can be used with windows that open a bit!
I could give the box fan a shot, but I usually keep the door shut. The PC also needs to run at peak performance for other purposes, not just gaming. I thought about making a custom exhaust attachment for the portable AC to fit under my door, but that might be impractical. My window has vertical hinges and opens outwards, so not sure if that would work.
