How can I cool down my room while gaming with my PC?

I'm dealing with a problem where my bulky Acer PC heats up my room, turning it into a sauna after just 30 minutes of gaming. The issue is worsened because my AC isn't effective; the thermostat is located in another room. In winter, I could simply open a window to let in the cold air, but summer makes that impossible for me. I'm considering a standalone AC unit that can vent heat out through the door since my window won't accommodate any usual designs. I'm looking for suggestions or alternative solutions that others have found useful, so any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Another idea is to move your PC to another room and use USB or HDMI cables to connect it to your setup in your room. That way, the heat stays out of your gaming space. It's a great workaround if you're looking to stay cool while still gaming!

One solid option is to decentralize the heat. If moving the heat out of the room isn't feasible with fans or AC, consider relocating your PC to a different room altogether. This could significantly cut down on the heat you're dealing with.

If you're comfortable with it, you might try undervolting your CPU and GPU to reduce heat. If that's not an option, running an AC is likely the best solution. Also, try capping your FPS to match your monitor's refresh rate—you might not need to push as hard.

Using a box fan to circulate air in and out of your room might help a lot. You could also think about improving the efficiency of your PC components. Just so you know, venting an AC out of your door might not be super effective. Do your windows really not open? There are units made for windows that just need a small opening to fit a vent hose, which might solve your problem without much hassle.

1. Box fan sounds good, but I usually keep my door shut for privacy.

2. I need my PC running at peak performance for other tasks besides gaming, just to clarify.

3. I did consider making a custom exhaust attachment for the AC to fit under the door, although I'm not sure how practical that would turn out to be. My window opens outwards but has vertical hinges, which complicates things.

In my home office, I keep things cool with a ceiling fan and a small desk fan blowing warm air out. I also installed a vent booster to enhance airflow from the AC vent, which really helps.
